Just for kicks, if this excerpt were a book or a movie, would you read it or watch it?
...Long ago, the 11 Kingdoms battled for control of the last ancient power: the Sun of Aredhel. Greed and bloodlust consumed them; oblivion was at hand. Their only hope lay within Legends foretelling of Ones who could summon Guardians to destroy the Ancient Power, and save them all.
As the hour grows dark, can salvation come fast enough?...

It's a little vague, and the capitalization of Ancient Power is inconsistent, but yea, probably.

ah well...the grammar wasn't a priority. I only ask as it's the narration i wrote to try and add something to an animation we're working on. It was a 3-D student's modeling reel titled "The Summoner". It's only a minute long, so we re-cut the sequence and added narration to give it a story. There's a dragon and an elf princess, and a map. We added battle sounds, and a loose story. I just hope it plays out well enough for a sound design piece!
