Pausing in T-town

Well, I've made it to T-Town. The drive up was adventuresome enough. Mostly thanks to the cats. My driver, played by The Lunchbox himself, was a pro, of course. Even kitty meowing, bad radio stations, rain, and snow flurries didn't throw him from his route.

So in 21 hours, I moved from 75 degree weather in Clermont, Florida to 24 degree weather in Teutopolis, IL. This transition is for about two weeks. Then it's off to Vancouver for a whirlwind year of school to learn Sound Design. I hope to chronicle most of that year here. I'm new to blogging, so hang on. I don't expect the ride to be too bumpy though. After all, I sit here now with a purring cat who's keeping me warm, and a world of possibilities....eh? =)

Ok, so maybe I still took the Avenue Q soundtrack just a bit too literally.

Good luck on your journey to the land of Canucks. It's really cold here in Pittsburgh if that's any consolation.

You KNOW it's just gonna get colder too! But, if it can be arranged, I'm SO gonna visit you in the summer time! :) And, I know I've said it before, but you totally have to say hello to Rod's girlfriend, Alberta! LOL I crack myself up! Seriously though, you are gonna have a super amazing time up there. It will take whips and chains to get you back to the states, I'll bet.

That's my favorite line from the song :)

Kent is already plotting and planning a visit to Vancouver. I'm sure it will involve hiking boots and a tent.
