Here's a completely random bonus to having my car with me in my home town. (and yes, I realize this observation makes me a tad odd, but most of you probably understand ;)
So being in a small town means that most people know what everyone drives around here. It's not as impressive as it sounds, since most people have personalized plates, and that gives you a good clue. Of course, a car with Florida plates stands out even more. Never mind the fact that my plate says "Vixen 7" which isn't like most plate personalizations here. They're like "T-Town 79" or "B-BALL 12" or "WDN SHOES" or "WEBER 32". Most have to do with our town mascot (wooden shoes basketball) or people's names.
Ok, so my car already stands out. But add the fact that I have a "Republicans for Voldemort" sticker in my window...well, it just makes me laugh. I'm sure that most people think I'm an evil out-of-state driver or at least an evil Republican hater. They don't know I'm from here! bwa-ha-ha! Ok, maybe it's just funny to me. It would all be even funnier if I made another sticker to go with it that said "Democrats for Wormtail". Keep 'em guessing. Alright, so you have to be a Harry Potter person or you probably don't get any of those. But I'm laughing. And my cats are staring at me. You'd think they'd be used to me by now.
