As many of you know by now, my second term here is ending, and I should be overwhelmed with projects and tests. And I am, but I do procrastinate...or rather, take mental breaks. This evening, I pulled out the 'ol Nerf gun. (Nerf N-Strike Maverick) It's awesome for stress relief. I hadn't really used it in ages because Aja loves it so much that I mostly have to play with her with it... and there are only 4 nerf darts left. A certain BROTHER of mine managed to lose two of the darts playing with Aja last December in Florida. Don't ask me how he lost two whole darts so permanently, that when I moved and cleaned that apartment a month later from top to bottom, they were still missing. But he did. And he has yet to replace them! (hint, hint, Ethan!)
Anyway, as usual, Aja just went nuts when I shot these things at the wall. She pounces them, bats them around, and picks them up and returns them. Ok, she returns about 1 in 4. You can imagine how much she LOVES this game, but how much of a pain it is for me (ok, it's still a break from school-related things, and she's out-right hysterical!).
If anyone (cough, Ethan!) feels like smuggling, ahem..i mean, donating, a few refill darts (3" micro darts or 3" sonic micro darts) in a letter my direction...I certainly won't mind. (clearly the 4 I have are not going to last long under cat-attack) Aja will mail you a personal, paw-penned Thank You. It might just say "see front", but what do you expect from a cat? ;) Hoo, boy..shameless request on my part, but I do it all for the puffballs.
And I wish I could have gotten a picture of her WITH the Nerf dart in her mouth, but she seems to know when the camera is ready and drops them immediately. Nutty cat.
