Barack Obama has secured the Democratic nomination this evening, and I couldn't be happier! I'm listening to his speech acknowledging that fact, right now....and I hope that it's a moment I'll always remember and be proud of. There are so many things I haven't been proud of regarding the U.S. for a long while now; so many things that are broken in our political system and in need of change; so many things that I hope can still be fixed, transformed, and improved. And I hope that Senator Obama can lead the way to bring about REAL Change, REAL Hope, and REAL Progress. Yes, I know he can't do it all; and goodness knows if he wins, no EARNS the Presidency, he'd be inheriting a colossal mess that hardly anyone could untangle in any short term...BUT I have hope again. And for a cynic who hates politics, that's something.
Now don't hurt me, Barack. I trust you. And so far, I'm pleased and proud. So please win it call...I believe. White House - Yes We Can!!

Hmm.... but how does he pronounce the word "Missouri". If he pronounces it "Missoura", I'll have my doubts.
