Catberry, Coat Racks, and Canucks

Just thought I'd write about a couple random things that have been bouncing around lately.

First one: Catberry! Isn't that just a fun word? I think it could have many uses. The actual use and meaning though is it's a cranberry supplement for cats to prevent urinary tract infections. Athena had high PH levels, so I got this supplement instead of buying pricey food that I'd have to give Aja too. This way I just buy it for the one cat. And luckily, Athena loves it, and Aja could care less. Catberry!!

As for coat racks...I bought one today. I was just biking to school to get some work done, and I passed a yard sale, so I decided to stop. And of course, there were nice things like shelves, but even to cart something like that a few blocks, it would be too much of a hassle. BUT there was a coat rack that looked fun. It was purple with kind of a weathered look. So I bought it. Just a little tricky getting it back to my place...I actually held it while I biked the 3 blocks. I'm sure it was quite a sight, but hey it worked!

And...the Canucks. The Vancouver Canucks were in the hockey Playoffs and faced my Anaheim Ducks this past week. And....my Ducks BEAT THEM!! hee hee. I do feel bad for Vancouver. And it would have been nice to be in a Canadian city with a team that won the Stanley cup, but...oh well. At least the Ducks are still in it. They are now one of the final 4 teams...it's getting close! Let's just say I'm still not popular at school being a Ducks fan, especially now that we've knocked the home team out of the playoffs...but that really was the Vancouver team's fault for playing badly. ;)

Go Ducks!

What kind of sound are you getting into? What applications do you use? ProTools? CuBase? Digital Performer?

I realized this isn't related to your post. Go Ducks!

Okay, so I'm a little behind...two months behind I guess. I'm so jealous that you got to spend playoff season in a hockey town!

Secondly, this shows that I'm a bigger nerd than you. When you started talking about Athena (hope she's feeling better by the way), I immediately started thinking..."hhmmm, a high pH is an indicator of a base, and urine is pretty acidic, so...."

Yeah, we're both pretty nerdy I guess....I would have never carried a purple coatrack home on a bicycle. ;)
